Questions for all applicants:
1. What is your name, age and location?
Peter Miser, 23, South Wales
2. What is your characters name, level, class, spec and professions? Also list any alt's (please provide us with a link to your armoury.)
Dewdman, 85, Paladin, Retribution/Protection, Enchanting, Mining.
Alts: Blitzerbob, 85, Shaman, Restoration/Enchancement
Alts: Oakwood, 85, Druid, Restoration/Ferral Cat
3. Why are you applying to Forsaken Enlightenment and what are your expectations from the guild?
I heard good things about this guild from my mate Chaz and I just want to have a fun time raiding with lots of people.
4. Do you know any current Guild member and how did you hear about us?
Yes I know Sychamorechaz and I heard about you guys through him.
5. What other guilds have you been in and why did you leave them? Do you currently have any other applications pending with other guilds?
Used to be in Lunar Eclipse and left because guild got disbanded and no other applications pending.
6. Tell us what special qualities you will bring to Forsaken Enlightenment.
I'm a person that gives it his all and loves to socialise and help others as much as possible.
7. Are you interested in becoming a social or raiding member of Forsaken Enlightenment, if social thank you for your application, if raiding please complete the next section.
Questions for raiders only:
What is your raiding spec and your duel spec if you have one, which do you prefer to play and why?
I have not figured that out yet because I love to tank and dps, and which ever one is called apon I go for :D
How do you keep yourself up to date on the latest developments of your class? Do you visit any websites for this?
I experiment for myself, visit mmochampion every so often, ask around trade as well, and even ask game masters.
Comment on your talents and glyphs. Why did you choose them? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those?
I prefer Tanking because I like taking the hit and always had a passion for looking out for others and making sure they didn't get hurt. Glyped to reduce as much damage as possible. I like my dps form as well, I actually think paladin healers have become so much better in recent patches.
Do you have control of your own time i.e. if you sign and are selected for a raid can you guarantee (disasters and acts of god permitting) that you will be available until raid end time.
I would be able to raid up until a certain extent i.e. if a family member died I would obviously not be able to make it.
When are you usually available for raiding (specific days of the week and preferred hours) have you taken note of our raiding days and do they fit into your schedule?
I can't do monday mornings oh God no not monday mornings XD but everything else is fine :D
What add-ons do you like to use for raids?
Deadly Boss mobs, Recount, and sexy map (nah just kidding it chunks you band width)
What raiding experience do you have and what role has this been in?
I have done BH (Tanked and dpsed), I have downed the first boss of Blackwing Descent, tried some BoT runs, and tired Throne of the Four Winds.
What raids do you believe you are geared for?
BH, Blackwing Descent, Throne of the Four Winds
Have you tried and/or completed any raid achievements and hard modes? What do you think of them and would you like to try more in the future?
No I haven't and yes I would.
Some difficult scenarios
An Officer or fellow member offers you some advice on how to improve your play, be it through rotations, talents or gem and enchant suggestions, how do you feel?
Honored I'm sure.
An item that you desperately want drops you register your interest but the loot council awards it to another player as is it a bigger upgrade or their attendance has been better, how do you react?
Meh don't care I'm just happy to be there :D
In order to balance a raid for an encounter or because there are far to many signs the raidleader places you on standby for the second time running, but another member of your class is in the raid for the third time in a row. What do you do?
I wouldn't mind to be honest, I would trust the guild.
After a heavy night of raiding another member makes a comment about your performance which may not be called for, how do you react?
I say "I'm just getting warmed up" and laugh.
We are wiping..... all night...... getting the raid and the tactics right, your repair bill is going through the roof and not much progression is happening, how do you feel?
Well to be honest repair bills have never really bothered me, I like spending time with mates and to be honest wiped don't bother me :D

Great application, love your attitude to raiding and people here obviously like you . I'm sure if you're geared for BWD, BH and TotFW, you'll be fine in BoT. Pretty simple tanking tactics in there.

Well if Peter likes you that's like my "AUTO MEMBER" button, its a rare occurrence! Anakes has actually been an Officer in FE for a few years now much like Chaz.
Same question of 25 or 10 man preference?

Mizery is great, hoped to have him FE at one point but he went down the hardcorer(mmm don't think there is such a word!!) route. Give him a wave from me!
Well you do have some fine recommendations don't you, could hardly say no! Poke myself or another Officer in game for an invite!

We have also recently decided that all members on initiate (Raider application) are expected to have 100% attendance (whether you are standby or not.) Until your trial is completed, this means 3/3 raids per week. Hope this suits and is a condition of acceptance.
