1. What is your name, age and location?
Patrick, (paddywhack) owen, 16, Wales babe ><
2. What is your characters name, level, class, spec and professions? (please provide us with a link to your armoury.) Deathsmage, 83 GNOME mage (gnome sacrifice) , frost (levelling) / fire, enchanting + tailoring (http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/emerald-dream/deathsmage/ )
3. Why are you applying to Forsaken Enlightenment and what are your expectations from the guild? I am applying to Forsaken Enlightenment for a fresh start in a friendly, helpful guild and a social environment to progress further in WoW, my only expectations of FE is too be the guild that I have heard so much and experienced from Fowler.
4. Do you know any current Guild member and how did you hear about us?
Fowler, (johnny) – I know Johnny in real life, being one of his closest friends, I have experienced a lot of FE through his character at sleepovers and have watched you raid, dungeon and simply mess around
5. What other guilds have you been in and why did you leave them? Do you currently have any other applications pending with other guilds?
Valour – disagreement with a member about “jokes” and the conduct of the guild, I then left the guild to form my own.
The True BoJangles – I am the current GM of the guild but find it tedious as the guild is a volatile one, I have grown tired of constant arguments and I am searching for a new start.
6. Tell us what special qualities you will bring to Forsaken Enlightenment.
Apart from Peter taking the rip out of my welshness? I bring my sense of humour that Johnny shares. I bring a character I have learned to love over the past 2 expansions and basically a down to earth, capable player who is always ready to help.
7. Are you interested in becoming a social or raiding member of Forsaken Enlightenment, if social thank you for your application, if raiding please complete the next section. Social – but ready to fill in spots IF needed.
Questions for raiders only:
What is your raiding spec and your duel spec if you have one, which do you prefer to play and why?
How do you keep yourself up to date on the latest developments of your class? Do you visit any websites for this?
Comment on your talents and glyphs. Why did you choose them? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those?
Do you have control of your own time i.e. if you sign and are selected for a raid can you guarantee (disasters and acts of god permitting) that you will be available until raid end time.
When are you usually available for raiding (specific days of the week and preferred hours) have you taken note of our raiding days and do they fit into your schedule?
What add-ons do you like to use for raids?
What raiding experience do you have and what role has this been in?
What raids do you believe you are geared for?
Have you tried and/or completed any raid achievements and hard modes? What do you think of them and would you like to try more in the future?
Some difficult scenarios
An Officer or fellow member offers you some advice on how to improve your play, be it through rotations, talents or gem and enchant suggestions, how do you feel? I consider their opinion and ask them why it is a improvement on my current gear, rotation etc. (not that i’ll take their opinion ;) tehe.
An item that you desperately want drops from ICC 25 (Deathwing?) you register your interest but the loot council awards it to another player as is it a bigger upgrade or their attendance has been better, how do you react? I QQ and cry till I run out of tears.... ;D seriously I do not care that much about gear or how quick I obtain it, as long as the guild progresses.
In order to balance a raid for an encounter or because there are far to many signs the raidleader places you on standby for the second time running, but another member of your class is in the raid for the third time in a row. What do you do? I would let the raid leader know my concerns, but would accept that eventually I will raid, and that being on standby still awards EP, so I will accept the fact I am not chosen.
After a heavy night of raiding another member makes a comment about your performance which may not be called for, how do you react? I would bring it up with the raid leader/guild leader and make sure that the person understands what they did wrong, and that it doesn’t co-inside with the guild rules.
We are wiping..... all night...... getting the raid and the tactics right, your repair bill is going through the roof and not much progression is happening, how do you feel? Sad...i feel that the progression is needed, and that wiping is part of progression, fowler has shown me many repair bills over the raids and it doesn’t seem to insurmountable to my gold, (Clothies FTW)
Thanks for reading the application, and I hope to hear back soon

I can vouch for pattybojangles as a great guild member and a capable player,
he's been a great friend through the recent troubles that have occured in our school.
and has always been a good friend since 2006.

Application is ok, but at the moment we have 3 raiding mages in guild. So as a raiding application possiblity of spots could be limited. Although we possibly wont be offically starting raids untill after the new year and getting that stressfull time of the year out the way
As your a friend of a player, a possible social spot might be available with the option to slot in if spots arise, whats your view on that?

Have you already been in this guild before or applied btw?
Well nice enough app, do you only have a mage? well I see you have applied as social anyhow and has your a friend of Johns I have no problem, but lets see if any other officers or if Jodie gets time from her busy schedule to have a gander ok, give it 1 day and if no one says no give someone a whisper for an invite.

Cool and I have no problems with being a social member at all. I enjoy pvp! (Gnomes are less of a target ;) ).
