Obsidium Sanctum

Hey this is just the Basic Tactic for Obsidium sanctum which we will be doing very shortly.

Obsidium Sanctum :-

Drakes-
Shadron
Tenebron
Vesperon

Main Boss-
Sartharion

We will have to encounter 2 groups of mobs before we fight the 1st of the three drakes if you take the left route you will encounter Vesperon.

Vesperon is a relatively easy encounter which starts with the tank facing him away from the raid. Every so often he will open up a portal in which ALL dps and a healer will go through the portal the defeat to mob inside but all who go through the portal take 1000 shadow damage per second in the portal until the mob inside is dead. Rince and repeat until Vesperon is dead!!
The second drake encounter is tenebron. There are 2 possible tactics for this encounter.
The first possible tactic is that the tank will tank Tenebron facing away from the raid. Tenebron will open up a portal in which all dps and a healer will enter the portal and attempt to kill the drake eggs inside (also taking 1000 shaodow damage per second) if they do not do this in time drake hatchling will come through the portal as well as dps and the healer.

The SECOND possible tactic is for the tank to tank Tenebron facing away from the Raid BUT when the portal spawns no-one will enter it instead have the Off tank postioned next to the portal to pick up any drake hatchling adds that will spawn through the portal. DPS will then take down the adds and attend to the boss again. Rince and repeat until dead.

The thrid Drake encounter is Shadron and is vitually identically to the first drake encounter with the same moves and tactics being applied.

The Main boss Sartharion is located in the middle of obsidian sanctum and can be encounter with any of the drakes still alive but hes will get a series of buffs on him.
Sartharion's Abilities -
7,670,000 HP (25 man), 2,510,100 HP (10 man)
Cleave, fairly weak (35% melee damage). Not likely to one-shot even clothies.
Tail Whip, minor damage, stuns for 2 seconds.
Frontal Fire Breath for 10k (10-man)/12k (25-man)
Will cast Pyrobuffet at anyone outside the area of his platform, rapidly killing them. Brief dips in the lava will generally not trigger Pyrobuffet.

The fight involve tactic placement of the Main tank and Ranged DPS because of some of sartharions abilities. The Main tank will postion sartharion near the middle of the area facing sidewards from DPS and healers and Sartharion has a tail-whip effectwith and if anyone tries to get in front of him he will cleave. He will deal frontal fire breath occasionally to the Main tank only dealing around 10k damage.
At certain intervals, a raid warning will appear saying, "The lava surrounding Sartharion churns!" Lava waves will then spawn that originate from the left or right of the encounter area. These waves place a minor DoT on any players caught in them, so players should move to the gaps between them. The location of the gaps is predictable depending on the side that the waves originate from.
The first set of fire waves coming from left to right have four waves coming through simultaneous. MT will move marginally north to avoid the waves whilst dps will move either way to avoid the wave.
The are 3 waves coming from right to left but because of where the MT and the DPS are postioned you may not have to move much or at all to avoid them. The waves have a pushback effect but dont deal alot of damage at all. Sartharion will also spawn little fire element adds which the Off tank will pick upand must be DPS down fairly quickly because if they get caught in the Fire Waves there damage output greatly increase (400%) and they increase in size. BUT OT MUST be careful using AoE as Sartharion is NOT immune to taunt!!!
Near the end of the fight (about 10%) Sartharion will go into a sort of enrage and alot of fire elements will spawn and the OT will have to pick them up and DPS down but it shouldn't such a problem.
