Adrenaline and Stack of Fury
Every time Staghelm transform he gets 1 Stack of Fury.
1 Stack of Fury = 8% more damage on Leaping Flames and Flame Scythe
-> too many shifts = too much damage for raid (soft enrage)

Flame scythe/Leaping Flames = 1 stack of Adrenaline
1 stack of Adrenaline = 20% faster energy regeneration = faster usage of Flame scythe/Leaping Flames
Every time Staghelm transform his Adrenaline stacks reset.
-> Too long in single form = boss can spam his abilities

Tips and Tricks
- Flame Scythe will deal 90,000 damage to each raid member in 25-man difficulty (if everyone is stacked, after few transforms the damage will be increased because of Fury stacks).
- As Staghelm reaches higher stacks of Adrenaline, raid cooldowns like Power Word: Barrier can be timed in such a way as to cover two Flame Scythes.
- Melee DPS classes suffer greatly if they are unable to attack mobs from behind, and Feral Druids and Rogues especially so. These classes can, however, position themselves behind Staghelm during the Scorpion Phase and simply move in front of the boss whenever a Flame Scythe is about to be cast (so, before the boss reaches 100 Energy). This will become increasingly difficult to perfect as his stacks of Adrenaline rise, and in any case, when the boss goes above 4 stacks of Adrenaline, it is not worth doing anymore.

- More than two Spirit of the Flame alive at one time is not preferred (Spirit of the Flame = burning shadow cat left behind from Leaping Flames). Therefore stack up should be done:
-> before raid become overwhelmed with Spirits of Flame
-> before shortened intervals between Leaping Flames make it impossible to stack up all at once (leap on melee range = possible wipe)
=> Everyone needs to watch closely Leaping Flame casts and be prepared to stack in a coordinated fashion

- Wait until you have 5 seconds left on your Searing Seeds and then move out (12yards).
- If player dies before the Searing Seeds has expired, it will detonate and do its damage to everyone within 12 yards = almost surely a wipe
- Paladins, Rogues and Mages can get rid of their Searing Seeds through Divine Shield, Cloak of Shadows and Ice Block respectively. Note that this will still cause the seed to detonate and deal damage to nearby allies. Players desiring to do this should do so immediately after a Flame Scythe has been cast, and should, naturally, be out of the raid. This will ensure that they are able to return to the stacking position before the next Scythe. Note: be aware with this; too many people being out of the stack might result Staghelm switching form prematurely.

- Invulnerabilities such as Divine Shield, Ice Block or Deterrence allow players to soak the damage from a Burning Orbs without receiving any stacks or any damage from it for a short while. This can prove helpful in stabilising an otherwise chaotic situation.

About the spec/role and leaping flames that we briefly discussed on last raid:
Quote:
Majordomo Staghelm chooses targets to leap on based on their class/spec. Thus, healers and ranged DPS can be targeted by a leap regardless of whether they are in melee range or not, and as a leap in melee is basically an instant wipe, you cannot have ranged DPS or healers staying there to avoid being damaged.

Quote:
Leaping Flame will target ranged raiders based on their spec role, not based on how many are at range. All ranged dps and all healers are eligible targets, regardless of how close they are to Fandral.

The tricky part is surviving the orb damage while surviving the leap damage. So, if melee takes orbs they can not be hit by leaping flames (all ranged should flee as far from orbs as possible). Ofc that was just something random that was on my mind, it is not suggested by any guide and thus should not be taken into action. ^_^

Also, I see some really annoying fps drop on this boss… can it be due this spec scanning. I do not know.
