Questions for all applicants:

1. What is your name, age and location?

My name is Frode, i am 25 years old and i come from Denmark

2. What is your characters name, level, class, spec and professions? (please provide us with a link to your armoury.)

My character is a level 80 Dwarf Paladin currently Holy specced with Herbalism and Alchemy as my professions (both max skill)

3. Why are you applying to Forsaken Enlightenment and what are your expectations from the guild?

I found the guild while i was looking through the progress on wowprogress.com and i thought the progress was similar to what i am looking for.

4. Do you know any current Guild member and how did you hear about us?

I don't know any Guild members because i migrated here a few days ago from Sunstrider, where i was a Blood Elf paladin (no, not a female!)
But as i wrote in the question above, i found the guild through wowprogress.

5. What other guilds have you been in and why did you leave them? Do you currently have any other applications pending with other guilds?

I was in a casual guild on sustrider along with a few real life friends, but due to them quitting wow i decided it was time for me to try a PvE realm.
And no, i don't have any other applications pending.

6. Tell us what special qualities you will bring to Forsaken Enlightenment.

Hmm.. Special qualities, well i am a healoholic, been healing since the end of vanilla wow mostly priest healing.

7. Are you interested in becoming a social or raiding member of Forsaken Enlightenment, if social thank you for your application, if raiding please complete the next section.

Questions for raiders only:

What is your raiding spec and your duel spec if you have one, which do you prefer to play and why?

My main spec is holy and current OS is retri (shifting between retri and prot for OS)
I prefer to raid as holy because healing is a rather fun thing for me and i believe i can contribute the most with this spec to the guild rather than with my OS.

How do you keep yourself up to date on the latest developments of your class? Do you visit any websites for this?

I mostly use mmo-champion for the different updates and changes, but i also check the official class forums.

Comment on your talents and glyphs. Why did you choose them? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those?

My spec and glyphs is something i chose from trial and error, plus a lot of help from a friend who have been playing paladin for some time.

Do you have control of your own time i.e. if you sign and are selected for a raid can you guarantee (disasters and acts of god permitting) that you will be available until raid end time.

Yes i have control over my time Happy

When are you usually available for raiding (specific days of the week and preferred hours) have you taken note of our raiding days and do they fit into your schedule?

I am usually able to raid most days of the week but with the exception of the weekends. And the raiding time the guild have suits me nicely.

What add-ons do you like to use for raids?

Using grid, dbm, omen and pp for raiding.

What raiding experience do you have and what role has this been in?
I raided most things in Vanilla with the exception of naxx and aq40 on my warrior.
In TBC i raided as a holy priest where i cleared most content except BT and SWP
So far in wotlk i have cleared naxx, os, onyxia and toc, i have cleared 6/12 in (tries on dreamwalker and putricide) 10 man ICC and 4/12 ICC 25 (tries all bosses in plaqueworks without luck)
Haven't had the pleasure of clearing ulduar, but have tried a few bosses there.

What raids do you believe you are geared for?

I should be geared for most normal raids both 10 and 25man.

Have you tried and/or completed any raid achievements and hard modes? What do you think of them and would you like to try more in the future?

I have completed a couple of hardmodes in Ulduar on my druid, one of them was "disarmed". I have also downed 2 in ToGC also on my druid.

Some difficult scenarios

An Officer or fellow member offers you some advice on how to improve your play, be it through rotations, talents or gem and enchant suggestions, how do you feel?

I would take it into consideration and try it out, it never hurts to try.

An item that you desperately want drops from ICC 25 you register your interest but the loot council awards it to another player as is it a bigger upgrade or their attendance has been better, how do you react?

I wouldn't take it badly, if it's something that would be a better upgrade for the other player then it would help the guild to progress as well.
And besides, it would most likely drop again Happy

In order to balance a raid for an encounter or because there are far to many signs the raidleader places you on standby for the second time running, but another member of your class is in the raid for the third time in a row. What do you do?

I would put some music on and start to farm herbs Happy

After a heavy night of raiding another member makes a comment about your performance which may not be called for, how do you react?

If it was something that was called for then i would take it to me, but it all depends on the way it's said. Otherwise i would most likely take it with a pinch of salt.

We are wiping..... all night...... getting the raid and the tactics right, your repair bill is going through the roof and not much progression is happening, how do you feel?

Wiping is part of progress so it goes hand in hand and besides, it wouldn't hurt me to spend 15 minutes more farming/doing dailies to get the repairbill paid.

Many thanks for your application, I shall bump to the Officer forums. If you could check back here for questions people may have and updates!

I have one question, you state that weekends are an exception for raiding, but we currently raid ICC25 on Sunday evening, how does this suit you?

Welcome to the server!

Wonderful! Sorry I have been a bit slack in getting back to you! Work has been a bit crazy. We would like to offer you a trial within FE please poke an Officer in game for an invite. Welcome to the family!
